I get multiple sales announcements daily from various suppliers of ammo and components, but recently they seem to be making a lot of fuss without having much actually available. I’ve done pretty well in the recent past with 9mm, .223, and .22LR, all stuff that I’ve decided to forgo loading for or can’t. Now it seems the discounts are thinner and stuff commonly available before is scarce. Crazy market for certain.
What fresh Hell is this?

Last time I talked to a Brownells rep (a month or two ago), she said they were no longer offer coupon codes. I don't know if this is a temporary or permanent thing.

Brownells e-mailed me a coupon code the last three days.

I used a Brownells coupon FEB40 to save $40 earlier this week, but don't know if they changed their policy since Tuesday...

I've noticed the same thing, lots of sales and nothing I can use.

Yeah, me too. I haven't bought bulk 9mm or .223 since, ever. I handload everything I shoot, and besides my .223 is a single shot and for me "high volume of fire" is maybe 30-40 rounds in an afternoon. Sales on .22 ammo go right over my head because the stuff I shoot is never offered. They sure do cater to the black gun crowd anymore, huh? I guess the almighty dollar is king!
I'm waiting on the promo that say's "Primers on sale, $30/thousand, quantities limited to 10,000 per household." Bwahahahaha............

The ammo manufacturers over produced for the civilization collapse/zombie horde preppers. They will have plenty of that and 6.5 Manbun sitting around soon. If I were them I would be looking at stuff that hasn’t been made in the longest period of time and start there (most potential built up demand) Like everyone else are seeing the “sales” are much about nothing.
